Frequently Asked Questions
| How do I pay for my rental? All first time customers pay on a COD basis. After completing a credit application and upon its approval, all future rentals are placed on a Net 10. This means that you will have 10 days from the day you are billed to get payment in to us. We accept all major credit cards. |
| Do I need insurance to rent from you? Yes. We need to have an insurance certificate on file prior to your shoot. It needs to cover the value of the equipment being rented, as well as general liability. Camera Support needs to be named as the Additional Insured and Loss Payee. Please consult your Rental Agent for details. |
| Can I pick up and set up my own equipment? Our qualified Technicians will deliver and set up your equipment for you. This insures that your rented equipment is functioning correctly and interfaces easily with the other equipment you are using. |
| Can I get equipment delivered to me anywhere? Yes. We have the resources and the experience to make sure your equipment gets to your shoot on time and in working condition, worldwide. |
| What if I don't have an operator for the equipment
I need? We can suggest operators who have done similar shoots. It's up to you to secure them for your shoot, and to arrange payment for their time. Discuss this need with your Rental Representative when you are reserving equipment. |
| What if I need a Technician all day to make sure
nothing goes wrong? We're planning on changing position frequently. What
should we do? We can provide a Camera Support Technician for an additional charge. In many cases, it saves money because there is less down time. The Technician can trouble-shoot if there's a problem, and can make sure things go as smoothly as possible. |
| What if I have special needs? I don't think my
idea has been done before. We pride ourselves in putting together unique applications. We have engineers available to consult with you to find out if your vision is going to be cost effective, and to be able to suggest alternatives to achieve a similar look. |
| I have an unexpected shoot happening tomorrow,
and I need your equipment there. How can I reach you after hours? Just call our office. If it's after hours, the answering machine will give you a pager number of someone who will be able to assist you. Leave a numeric or voice message with details of your shoot, and we will try our best to accommodate your needs. |
