Thanks to the advantages of ongoing emulsion enhancements, Super 16 film remains the format of choice for cost efficient, high quality acquisition of 16 x 9 and high definition imaging. When deciding on a camera to complement our state of the art support systems we were naturally attracted to the Aaton XTRprod. This camera moves easily from a dolly to a steadicam to a jib arm to a ped with minimum reconfiguration. The new 800 ft. magazine offers 22 minutes @ 24 fps and the high resolution color tap allows us to integrate our proprietary system "CinOvation" to your film-ped and conventional dolly systems. Its sophisticated technology, known dependability, and lightweight size make the XTRprod the right choice for single-camera and multi-camera productions. The XTRprod and CinOvation combined provide a system that is efficient and flexible, with all the features required for studio production, in one integrated and elegant package.
